Wisdom Tooth Extraction Healing Process?
My girlfriend had her two wisdom teeth extracted 6 days ago and because me and her have never really had dental work done we're both unsure what to expect. The dentist was unable to completely remove all of one of the wisdom teeth and left in the root tips in.
Ever since then she's been extremely worried about eating anything and has been sticking to a liquid-only diet. I think most of this is coming from her really not wanting to get a "Dry Socket" but I was under the impression the risk of Dry Socket is gone after the 5th day.
One of the other reasons why she's worried is because she still has small indentations where the teeth were extracted and she's worried something will get lodged in there and cause an infection.
There's small red (blood red) spots in these indentations and she's worried that those are the blood clots and she's still in danger of getting a Dry Socket.
Because she isn't going to be able to live off a liquid diet forever I was wondering is she okay to eat now?
Should she stick to soft foods only or can she go back to eating regularly?
Are there any risks that anything will get stuck in there or is she just being overly cautious?
How many more days/weeks/months should go by before she eats just like she did before the procedure?
Do the gums need to be completely healed before she eats regularly or are these indentations and small red spots alright to eat with?

What's wrong with my throat?
Hello. I am currently experiencing throat problems. Yesterday, my throat was in immense pain, and it was painfully difficult for me to swallow. At times, it was even difficult for me to speak or eat. Heat aggravated the condition.
A day later, the extreme heat in my throat has died down, but I feel like something is eternally stuck in my throat. I no longer have immense pain, but my throat is still uncomfortable. Please note:
-I do not have a fever.
-I do not have heart issues of any kind: heart failure, heart disease, etc.
-I can sleep at night without disturbance.
-There are NO blotches/spots on my tongue, neck, etc
-There is no history of cancer in my family.
-I do live in a high stress environment.
-My family and I DO NOT have health insurance, so I cannot fly off to the doctor.
What is going on? The pain has calmed down, by why do I still have the feeling something is lodged in my throat? What can I do to make it feel better? Please help, and thank you. :-)
Please note: I have no fever, no heart failure, no family history of cancer, and no health insurance. Also: I have not been using my voice at high volumes. I have not been screaming or shouting for long periods of time.
